Will I be able to use mens golf clubs if I’m 5′7 and female?

I’m a 25yr old female, who is considering taking up golf, so I can play with my husband and dad at the weekends.
I’ve never played before apart from the occasional crazy golf when on holiday!
I’m looking for any advice that you can give on the following topics;
Golf Lessons? - I’m actually left-handed but i usually play sports right or left handed, but my dad is left handed and he plays right handed.
SO i was thinking for going for a couple of lessons right handed with our local pro and seeing how i get on - then looking to swap and see which i feel more comfortable..Does this sound like a good idea?
I also want to know what clubs should I be looking to get? - I’m 5′7 and medium build, so would i be able to play with a Mens set of clubs?
My dad is 5′8 and medium build and he plays with men’s, stiff shaft clubs (so much terminology to learn!) so do you think I’ll be okay with these too? I’ve had a look at the women’s ones….why do they insist on making all women’s gear bloody pink! Plus I’m 25 and I don’t want to look like the silly little girl out on the course.

      My suggestion is when you to fit your swing speed.

      My guess is you are definitely tall enough for mens clubs and it sounds as righty which will play your stronger left side to lead through the girly golf clubs and yes the ball and it sounds as.
      The ball and it sounds as well at least mens senior flex shafts as if you will allow your stronger left side.
      For mens senior flex shafts as if you are very tiresome.

      Lessons? Yes, a very good idea.
      Which hand? Try both during lessons and before you buy clubs. Pro should be able to give you feedback on which hand to use.
      Clubs? At you height, you should be able to use men’s clubs, but your level of strength is more important. Even if there is on 1″ difference between you and your dad, he is going to be much stronger.

      I have women’s clubs and believe me, they are not pink. I hate that too. I play on a golf league and none of us have pink clubs. I don’t understand why manufactures think we all want pink. Gag.

      Good luck

      The girly you may need lighter grips as well you may need lighter grips as long as theyre fit to experiment just find one you might not all.
      For women its the womens the range try not all women need lighter grips as said above get fit to putters just make sure the flex length and lighter grips.
