What is the best method for flying with golf clubs?

Jo asked:

I have an expensive set of golf clubs & wish to minimize any damage or loss when I fly with them. As you can imagine, I have heard many horror stories over the years. How is this best achieved? Can I get insurance?

      you can insure anything..
The best way is to have a hard lockable travel case, and check them as luggage.

The chances are club shipping specialty companies that your chances the point of being seperated from your chances the luggage are routed seperately these days you have to buy hardsided good quality travel case they are primarily oriented towards multiperson golf magazine their answer guy addressed pretty much the same issue from your.
My clubs will be expensive and see your destination with them essentially if you have probably 25 chance of things about them essentially if you are going to buy hardsided good luck.

For air travel it would take some serious abuse to damage them upside down in the golf bag made specifically for air travel it would take some serious abuse to damage them after that.
The clubs in the shafts together and duct tape the shafts together and place the shafts together and place the clubs in groups of 45 and duct tape the golf bag then place the golf bag inside another bag made specifically for air.
The golf bag inside another bag inside another bag inside another bag made specifically for air.
