What can I use to polish or buff up the metal heads of my golf clubs?

Some are woods, some are irons, but I would like to know if there is something I can use to polish the metal and buff out the scratches. They are mainly superficial scratches, but I want to get the clubs really nice so I can sell them. Will Turtle Wax work? What can I use? Thank you!!
What exactly do I do with the chocolate?
Common sense, soap & water, or coke and a towel will not work because they are SCRATCHES!!
