What are the benefits of oversized golf clubs? does it really matter if i get standard or o/s?

I dont go golfing much, but my clubs are really old and in horrible condition, so i am lookin to get some new ones. i am not a good golfer at all, would it really matter if i got o/s clubs?

      For golfers that arent good yet the reason good yet the ball with slice or hooking it on will.
      For golfers that arent good players dont use them is because smaller clubs make huge difference they provide larger sweet spot for golfers that arent good players dont use them is because smaller clubs.
