Trying to decide upon three sets of used Golf Clubs?
February 23rd, 2008 | by admin |Used to play quite a bit, but always with a cheap set of clubs. Haven’t played much since. Looking to replace stolen clubs
Don’t want to spend much on these:
First Set: HT Logic Acculite, True Shot, all black graphite
new grips, good condition.. Also comes with a Nike golf bag, black and grey, excellent condition. All for $160 obo
2nd Set: $50
Powerbilt Grand Slam - includes 3 to P irons and 1,3,5 woods and navy blue bag. newer grips. in very good shape, used but not abused - about 10 years old and used 10-20 times per summer - they were regripped - so the grips are newer and the bag is only 5 years old
3rd Set: $125
Complete set of “Apollo Shadow” Golf Clubs. (made in England)
Irons - 3 to 9, Woods - 1,3,5 (the 1 wood is “Arnold Palmer” large size)
Putter - “Odyssey”, “Fila” Golf Bag with Rain Cover plus 2 travel Golf Bag covers, Golf cart.

The look then why not use it feels and looks good then buy it because if you like the 50dollar clubs as did but it is personal if you like the look.

I wouldn’t recommend any of those, you need to be playing equipment made in the last 2-3 years. And don’t listen to the dude that says play blades, even a good percentage of pros don’t use blades any more.

Fifty will get you back into the swing of things but the third set sounds good with a golf cart thrown in. You have the start of enjoyment ( and frustration) right at your fingertips. Go for it!
