      heat them up before you try to make it easier but not with you bare hands

      I agree they will need to be heated up. Plumbers have a tool that bends pipes. Maybe this will help. Good luck!

      The wooden ones are going to find better metal ones wont bend them and then design it to find better metal ones wont bend them and then design it to look like golf club.
