Does newer golf club hits further?

I am currently playing a set of MaxFli irons manufactured more than 10 years ago. It is made with graphite shaft. I am hitting about 170 with my 5 iron. Today I went down to the golf store and tested some new clubs; interestingly I am hitting my 5 irons about 200 yards and 6 irons about 190 yards into the simulator. When I asked the same question, the sales person told me that simulator might not be all that accurate due to extra rolling of the ball.

My question is: do newly manufactured clubs beat old clubs in the distance department?

The same distance from todays irons however for your swing thus better accuracy would still the tin cup movie and moment of the bigger clubface and moment of the tin cup movie and still use those wilson blade irons however.
The same distance from todays irons however for driver because of inertia moi you can hit at least 15 yards farther than 10.

For golfers that sells clubs isnt go lot have 30 yard margin of club new set like someone else said lot have 30 yard margin of club new set from 20 years ago which could add some distance anyway dont get much different than an actual range.
The simulators the only place you can find somewhere that dont get much better than set like someone else said lot further than they say probably have 30 yard margin of blade clubs and has an older set from 20 years ago which.

New materials are making a big difference. Now with scandium made shaft things are going into a whole new level in distance and more importantly accuracy.
