      They do use them to send u promotional things….I get them all the time.

      They can scan the ID to get whatever information off the card that they want.

      Do you really want a bar or club to know your home address or social security number?

      Give them a piece of ID that can’t be scanned, like a passport or other form of ID that doesn’t have a strip or bar code on the back.
